The NewsMalayalam updates. Preparations for ancestral worship and sacrifices have been completed at the Kent Ayyappa temple in Britain.

London - Preparations for the Karkidaka Vavubali day, July 24, have been completed at the Kent Ayyappa temple. The Ramayana month is a very important month according to Hindu beliefs. The Shraddha Karma or Karkidaka Vavubali, performed for ancestors on the new moon day of this month, is also very important. Sacrifice is a ritual performed by living children or relatives for their departed ancestors. It is believed that sacrificing on this day will bring peace to the souls of the ancestors. The sacrifice ceremonies and ancestral worship will be held from 11.30 am to 3 pm at the Rochester River Medway in Kent.  The temple will be led by the temple head priest Sri Abhijith, the temple priests Vadakke Veliyallam Sri Vishnuravi Thirumeni and Thazhoor Mana Sri Harinarayanan Thirumeni.
